Description: We are going to be living by the Golden Rule: “Do to others as you would like them to do to you.” ~ Luke 6:31 (NLT) This class will be chock-full of ideas of ways to serve those who Jesus loves. We will organize collection drives, create hand-made gifts, and lots of love in action! Who can take on the 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge?

*We will be doing several collection drives during our 5-weeks; examples include: canned goods, cereal, good condition used shoes, eye glasses, gently loved stuffed animals, or pennies. Some collections will be for just the class, but some will be for all of CHAT. Parents are not expected to buy new items for each activity that the kids organize. There are many acts of kindness we will focus on that are free and truly service oriented.

Registration note:  During the first week of registration, priority will be given to students who enroll in all 3 Explore classes.

Tutor: Kristi Beil is a licensed K-6 teacher and thought she would spend her career teaching in the public school system - but God had a different plan for her and her family. Kristi never considered the possibility of homeschooling her four children, but she did! After 16 years of homeschooling, her children are all graduated and now she continues teaching children and guiding other homeschool parents on their journey to educate their kids. Mrs. Beil has taught all ages of kids, in all manner of homeschool co-ops. Her natural curiosity, play, and love of learning bring her classes to life.
