 Strength and Conditioning
Tutor: Chloe Hilden
Email: cdhilden@gmail.com
Length: Full Year or by semester Class Period: Wednesday, period 3 (12:45 - 1:30 p.m.)

Description: All ability levels are welcome to join us as we pursue strength, flexibility, and endurance.

Each week we will spend the majority of our class time in active workouts - doing body weight conditioning, cardio, circuits, and walking/jogging, sometimes outdoors. We will spend a short amount of time each week discussing topics including women’s health and wellness, habit building, basic muscle anatomy, and injury prevention techniques. To maintain and enhance the progress made in class, students will be assigned conditioning exercises as homework every week. Come ready to sweat!

Note: This is a 45-minute class. You have 15 minutes before class to change and will have 30 minutes after class to freshen up.

Tutor: Chloe Hilden is a fellow homeschooler with five kids ages 9-18. She has had a lifelong interest in health and wellness. While not formally trained in that area, Chloe continues to explore and grow in those pursuits daily. As a high school athlete, she played basketball, ran and threw for track & field, and skied cross country. In college, she found a love for rowing and continues to row for fitness at home and practice pilates and strength training on a daily basis. She looks forward to encouraging young women to grow in strength of mind and body as well as understanding of their unique design as women.
