Description: This class will focus on historical figures and their character qualities. Each week students will learn about a historical figure, a particular character quality that individual exhibited, and a bit about the time period in which the person lived. Students will hear stories, play games, sing songs, and create projects throughout the lessons. There will be a snack provided each week.

Tutor: Chelsea Austin received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from North Central University in Minneapolis in 2010. After graduating, she spent a year substitute teaching in public, private, and charter schools. Since 2012, she has stayed home full time while raising three wonderful girls and one fantastic boy. For the past 5 years, she has been loving homeschooling her own children. She is looking forward to getting back in the classroom while continuing her own family's homeschool journey.
