Description:
The emphasis in this course is on muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, and safety.
Students will focus on mastering basic human movement patterns safely and
with proper form. Core movement patterns will include pushing,
pulling, squatting, hinging, and loaded carries. Weight room safety, warm-up/cool down procedures, lifting technique and safety for all lifts, major muscle identification, and individual goal setting are all important components in this course. This class is 60 minutes in length. Students will be able to shower in the Children's wing restrooms if desired.
