Length: Full Year | Class Period: Thursday, period 2 (9:45 - 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 - 2:00) This is a full day class. |
Description: In our 1st Grade Class, we are going to dip our toes into “school” while focusing more on the fun and friendship aspect of learning. Children learn best through play, so our day together will look more like play and messy fun. We will see God's hand in our lives as we explore parts of America's story and science through literature and hands-on activities, and also engage in learning and developing Godly character. Snacks, Lunch, and Water Bottles: Children should bring a water bottle every week and 2 healthy snacks, such as apple slices, cut veggies, or a protein snack. Children should be able to open/peel their snack on their own. Students will also need to bring a sack lunch and will be supervised during their lunch period. Important note: This is a full day class, which is reflected in the tuition amount listed on the registration form. There is a $5 lunch fee included in the price of the class to cover the cost of having a designated lunch monitor. Tutor:
