Description: Encore! is a dynamic homeschool choir with an emphasis on singing technique and performance. Encore! will include more than only singing. As a choir, we will get to know our fellow classmates through various community-building activities. We will also learn about the building blocks of music and critical listening skills. Most of all, we will sing songs from a variety of genres and languages that are glorifying to our Lord, fun, and educational.

Encore! will perform at both a Christmas Celebration and Spring Showcase. 

Vocal coach/director: Hannah Janssen has a degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. She has vocal directed and choreographed for several local theater, church and school productions including Bunce Performing Arts, Front Porch Musical Theatre, Cross Community Players, and the Waconia school district. Hannah taught music and directed choirs at Avail Academy, Minnehaha Academy, and in the Waconia School district. Hannah is involved in the worship team at City Hill Church. She also enjoys running, hiking, and camping with her friends and family. She and her husband live in the Twin Cities with their 4 children who keep their lives full of excitement and joy!
