Length: Semester class | Class Period: Wednesday, period 2 (11:00 - 12:00) |
Description: In this group lesson, students can come in knowing little or nothing about music and the guitar and leave having learned some fun melodies and songs to play! We'll build the foundation along the way with technique, note-reading and music theory while keeping in mind that we learn those elements so that we can better play and enjoy music! Each lesson will have group-oriented time as well as individual "check-ins" with Chris to ensure he or she is on track. Note: This is a 60-minute class and the class size is limited. Tutor:
Chris Depoian grew up hearing his dad play guitar around the house and at
live shows. He “caught the bug” around age 13 in 1999 and hasn’t
stopped playing since! Right around that time he encountered God in
a real way and has been a Christian ever since, as well. He’s been
teaching guitar and other instruments since 2003 and received his
Bachelor of Arts in Music at North Central University in 2008 where
he studied jazz, blues, rock, classical, songwriting, and worship
leading. Cost: $335, $345 or $355
per semester (depending on registration date) |
