| Description:
What this group looks like will largely be determined
by the guys who sign up. The focus will be on relationship.
They will hang out, get to know each other, talk about God's word as it
applies to them, and develop accountability. As the guys get
to know each other and Mark, he will set the direction based on the needs
of the group. Note: Mark is volunteering to lead this group, and is not being paid as a tutor. The small tuition that we are collecting with go directly to Mark to offset his expenses. Tutor: Mark Nelson graduated with honors from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a B.A. in Business and Marketing, and a minor in Leadership Studies. He was a small group leader with Young Life for 3 years and is now currently on staff with a high school youth group at a local church. Mark enjoys working with teenage guys and helping them navigate the challenges that they encounter on their journey to become godly men. He is a homeschool graduate, so brings an instant rapport to the group. Mark plays the guitar, and loves playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, and most other sports. Level: Guys only, grades 9-10 |
