Description: The STEM Challenge class is an exciting, interactive, hands-on class that will help develop critical thinking skills as student become innovators, learning all about the engineering design process which includes brainstorming, designing, building, testing, and repeating the cycle when needed. Sometimes our designs and ideas won’t work but ultimate success comes from these failures as students learn to be resilient and keep going. This class requires students to work in teams to solve different challenges each week. Some classes involve students solving real world problems, others will be about creating and designing something unique. Doing STEM challenges is a great way to improve problem-solving skills in all areas of life and learning to persevere even when things aren't working as expected.
