Dear Parents,

In this email you will find the following information:

1.  Last chance to participate in Joe's backpack.  See below for what is still needed.
2. Spirit Wear delivery this week
3.  CHAT's Christmas Celebration general details

6. Opportunity for older students to get involved with Christian Youth in Action

1.  If you want to participate in the service project, you still have time.  You may still sign up HERE.  We mostly need unscented lotion and soap, reusable water bottles, water wipes, and cozy blankets.  Deadline is this Thursday.  You can still donate cash or Venmo @laura-johnson-259  and we'll buy the supplies for you.

2. If you ordered Spirit Wear, you can pick it up this week by the Monitor Table. Your name will be on a bag in alphabetical order.  If you forget, you can get your things after Thanksgiving break.

3. Christmas Performance general details:
  •        Grades K-2 will perform at 5:30
  •        Grades 3-12 will perform at 7:00
  •        There will be treats and displays to enjoy after each performance.

4. Homeschool snowboarding classes: Improve your skills in the terrain park by checking out classes JSAW is offering on Mondays in December, January. and February.  More information can be found here: SNOWBOARD CLASSES.

5. Metro United Homeschool Soccer program is offering a winter indoor training for homeschool students in K-11th grade.  The sessions consist of soccer fundamentals, techniques, and scrimmaging.  The trainings take place at the Braemar Dome in Edina for 10 weeks on Fridays from January-March.  To register, go to the Metro United website, set-up an account or log into your existing account and register www.metrounitedsoccer.org

K-5th Graders - Co-ed

Who: K-5th grade Homeschool students

Time: 12:30-1:30 pm

When: Fridays, Jan 17th - March 21st (10 weeks)

Where: Braemar Soccer Dome - 7509 Ikola Way, Edina, MN 55439

Cost $100 ($10 late fee starting Dec 15th)


6th-11th Graders

Who: 6th-11th grade Homeschool students

Girls Training Time: 12:00-1:30pm

Boys Training Time: 1:30-3:00pm

When: Fridays, Jan 17th - March 21st (10 weeks)

Where: Braemar Soccer Dome - 7509 Ikola Way, Edina, MN 55439

Cost $140 ($15 late fee starting Dec 15th)

6.   Christian Youth in Action (CYIA), is a program that equips students through training to where students learn to share the gospel and given a platform for them to share the love of Jesus Christ with kids through 5-Day Clubs in the Twin Cities area. They're also trained to disciple kids in the Word of God and establish them in the local church. CYIA connects students with other students their age, who share a passion for God, and offers training in public speaking, leadership, and working with kids.
