Joe's Backpack Service Project
If you'd like to be part of CHAT's service project by helping us fill backpacks that will be offered to families who unexpectedly find themselves in the ICU, you can do that by, 1)picking an item on this
Sign Up Genius, or 2) donating money through Venmo (@la
ura-johnson-259), or 3) slipping cash into the jar on the monitor table. Details were included last week in our Weekly. I've attached Joe's story again for those who missed it.
DEADLINE to drop off items is next week before Thanksgiving break.

Field Trip for students in grades 3-6
Winter Broadcast Experience at the Pavek Museum
Wednesday, December 11 – 1 PM
Designed for students in grades 3 through 6, the Broadcast Experience teaches the history and science of electronic communication. Students will create a live radio broadcast with a unique script and themed songs, commercials, and sound effects for the holiday season and compete against each other in a TV-style game show. The experience lasts 75 minutes. Cost is $11 per person.
The broadcast experience includes extensive reading and is designed for grades 3-6. Children younger than grade 3 are welcome to tour the museum with a parent. Museum admission is $11 per adult, $6 per student, and children younger than 4 are free.
If you have a student in grade 3-6 that would like to attend but would need a ride to/from CHAT, carpooling arrangements may be available. Please reach out. Registration deadline is Friday, November 22nd. Contact Chloe Hilden at
