Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and had time to think about the things you are thankful for. 

Here's what's in this email this week:

1. Packing Joe's Backpack - updated time change this Wednesday

2. Christmas Market details including hiring student helpers

3. Christmas grams for sale for all students

4. Coming up:  Spirit Day on the last day of the semester

1.  Thanks to all who so generously contributed to filling Joe's Backpacks. These will be distributed to families who unexpectedly find themselves in the ICU.  CHAT families donated enough supplies and cash to fill 16 backpacks!!  Awesome!!  I know this will be a blessing to the families receiving them.

We will be filling these backpacks this Wednesday at 3:30 in room 2.  We'd love help assembling, so come help out if you are able to.

2. 🎄 This Thursday is the Christmas Market at Cross of Glory from 4:30-7.  We encourage you to come and invite family and friends.  We will have pizza and homemade chili for sale if you get hungry while shopping.  There is additional parking on the north side of the church if it's needed.

I am looking to hire a few students in grades 7-12 to help with this event.  If your student is interested, please let me know.  Here's what we need:

3.   It has become a fun tradition at CHAT for the Student Council to deliver Candy Grams on the last day of the semester.  All students and parents may purchase Candy grams for other students during the next 3 weeks.  Buy yours early as the grams are 2 for $1 this week.

Regular Pricing: 

4. Remember that in 3 weeks, we will have our final Spirit Day of the semester.  Students can join the fun by dressing 'Christmassy'.

5. Gym Day this week for grades 7-12 3:30-4:30.   Students will have to check the whiteboard for what they will be playing.

6. For the remainder of the semester, it is necessary to not allow food in the Student Lounge or anywhere on the lower level unless it is tutor approved in a classroom.  We will reassess next semester.

7. Save the Date:  Students in grades 9-12 are invited to CHAT's Semi-Formal on Feb. 8th at the Outpost in Chaska.  Friends of CHAT students are welcome as well.  More details coming soon.
