Other Materials necessary for class:  A graphing calculator, such as TI-83 or TI-84 plus, notebook 

 

Homework:  Each week you will have practice problems. Some weeks you also have homework problems. All problems are submitted via McGraw-Hill's MathZone website.

 

Class time:  The student should come prepared for class by doing the reading, watching the lesson, and trying the assigned problems for that week before coming to class.  Class time will be spent on reviewing concepts and answering questions.

 

Tests:  There are two exams: a midterm and a final. These are taken online via McGraw-Hill's Math Zone website.

 

Grading:  Grading will be based on the number of points a student receives for homework, the midterm, and the final.  Grades will be assigned by NWC.  (See the course guide for more information.)
