History of ARK
The Awana RecordKeeping software (ARK) is a program originally designed for use in the author's home church. As people began asking for copies of the program, a website was developed to make it available to more people. Since then, refinements have been added and more are planned, as time permits. Many useful suggestions have been received from users of the program. As time permits, documentation is being added to help you in downloading and using the program. Hopefully, it will prove a blessing to you and your Awana group.
Overview of ARK
ARK is a recordkeeping program used to keep track of attendance, dues, address, etc. It also tracks what sections each clubber has passed each week. The software will run on any computer using Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, Mac OS 10.4 or later, and Linux distributions with GTK+ 2.8 or higher.
The ARK program provides many features to assist you in keeping your Awana records up to date and using that information effectively: (To see sample pages click here)
- It tracks clubber and leader information and can do mailing lists (labels) from that list.
- It tracks Session information, I.e. Attendance, Dues, Book, Bible, Uniform and verses memorized.
- It tracks Section information on each clubber, I.e. sections completed, total grade points, book progress, etc.
- It tracks points by color teams based on your choices in setting up team groups and point values given.
- Statistics for reporting purposes: attendance, sections, verses memorized, etc. for the entire year or any portion of the year you select.
- One Year Record Sheets.
- Import and export options to support multiple clubs on several computers (for large churches).
Many enhancements and features have been added to ARK through work at Missionary Tech Team. For more information on what is available in this version click here)
